Story
Men and women live in a giant underground tank, and they are subject to many rules that are supposed to protect them from a toxic and broken world. Whether they are searching for stars, escaping a dystopia, or making the world a better place, science fiction is about these women. "Gapjú" Season 1; – the book consists of 82 chapters. The fans on the floor spin in the wrong direction in various episodes in terms of the orientation of the blades. When they spin this way, the air is neither pushed nor pulled.
My first review!
I read the Hughes trilogy years ago and really enjoyed the books. When I randomly scrolled through IMDB and came across SILO, I was immediately intrigued. I see some slightly conflicting reviews, and some that I agree with. Here’s my take on the first season. First of all, I love dystopian literature!
It is not an adaptation in the sense that it follows the plot
The dystopian genre offers a unique psychological perspective on human nature in hypothetical scenarios. My attachment to the trilogy was strengthened because Hughes managed to develop Orwellian ideas in a hypothetical framework that is relevant to the modern world. Depicting the development of the human psyche in dystopian scenarios is a difficult task. I think Hughes has done a wonderful job, SILO refreshingly captures most of these points. It is based on the books, but of course it has to adapt to the viewer in a fast-paced world.
The acting for the central characters is phenomenal
Despite this, the series manages to capture the atmosphere of a society living in silos. Unlike the shallow narrative of other shows, «SILO» is a wonderful mix of character development and atmospheric focus. My only problem with the show is the lack of atmospheric development. A lot of screen time is spent chasing and capturing Juliet. They lack the development of a silo as a societal atmosphere.
Of course, it has to appeal to your target audience
