Filmed by Paul W. S. Anderson based on the story of the same name by George R. R. Martina, the film tells the story of a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, decides on a bold act: she sends the powerful and terrifying sorceress Gray Alice (Mila Jovovich) to the ghostly lands of the Lost Lands in search of magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the vagabond Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and defeat a man and a demon.
