Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) stars as Ramona, a woman paralyzed with grief after surviving a car accident that kills her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences). Severely injured, Ramona must now care for her 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF), who are left alone in their rural home. One day, a woman takes shape in their yard. Ramona assumes the woman (Okwui Okpokwasili; The Exorcist: The Believer, Julie Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) is either lost or crazy, but as the woman gets closer and closer to the house, it becomes clear that she is no ordinary character and her intentions are far from peaceful. Now Ramona must rally to protect herself and her children from a woman who just won’t leave them alone.
