He is capable. He is cute. This is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. fills in for his father in some of the footage, as they look remarkably similar. Dexter, visible throughout the first season, has a large scar on his left side. Later, in the second season, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side intact. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. Over the years my eyes got used to it until darkness became my world and I could not see. Shown at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). Main theme Author: Rolf Kent Performer: Rolf Kent. This will be my first review on IMDb, not a day goes by that I don’t go to IMDb to see reviews of films or series that I watch, I watch many films and series. For the first time in my life, it happened to me that I could not fall asleep after watching the series. I saw “Escape from prison”, “Heroes” and many other things. The first season of Prison Break and Heroes was amazing. They inspired me so much that I made several tattoos on my body. However, both of these series are canceled as soon as they move on to the next season. “Heroes” was a big disappointment, but “Dexter”… My God, episode after episode, I’m so curious what’s next… damn, season 4. I just couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching episodes one after another. Let’s start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness was beyond the limit, he played the part so well that sometimes I wonder if he is like that in real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife , who plays his sister in this series. Heck, Debra is one of those characters who is so messed up and basically under the control of the people around her that she always ends up doing something wrong, but always getting credit for the good things. I like the part where you get to know what’s going on in Dexter’s head when he’s thinking about something or when someone is talking to him, and also the part when he’s talking to his late father Harry. (he just thinks what his father would say in this situation). All series/characters and all seasons are written and acted so well that you will hardly find a single flaw in them. My favorite characters are Dexter (obviously), Rita and Vince. Damn, Vince is so funny, he only says one word the entire series and it’s damn funny. I just can’t wait for season five, and I’m sure everyone who watched Dexter feels the same way I do. (I apologize if my first review contains mistakes and offends someone’s feelings)
