Story
It tells the story of three very different families who compete for the same 1920s Spanish-style villa, which they think will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). You always tend to get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But this cast really gave it their all and felt like they got all the points. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that is perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a character like that. Great pacing, good tension, lots of comic relief. Suddenly, I wasn’t expecting a twist ending, and the final episode felt like it resolved all the storylines. I really enjoyed it! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new fast-paced streaming world.
