There have been numerous attempts to bring Kraven the Hunter to the big screen, all of which have failed
Story
Kraven’s complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff, leads him to a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the world’s greatest hunter, but also one of the most feared. Sam Raimi wanted him to appear in Spider-Man 4 before the project was canceled, and Kraven’s spear appeared in Spider-Man 2 (2014) as a teaser for his planned appearance in the also-cancelled Sinister Six film. As for the MCU, Ryan Coogler wanted to include him in Black Panther (2018), taking inspiration from Christopher Priest’s Black Panther comic, but he was unable to secure the rights. Jon Watts wanted Kraven to be the backup villain for Spider-Man: Put bez povratka (2021) in case the multiverse storyline didn’t go as planned.

Sergei Kravinoff: [after his father tries to attack him] You don’t have the right to do this to me anymore. I wasn’t expecting much from Kraven the Hunter. The recent run of Sony Marvel films has been pretty dismal and I wasn’t holding my breath. It’s unfortunate to say that Kraven is following suit.
It was fake and clumsy
The script felt like it was written by a 5-year-old playing with Marvel toys. A poor script makes the rest of the film uneventful and lame. The talented actors Aaron and Russel couldn’t save it. What made the movie great (if anything) was Kraven’s look and the action sequences.
However, the villains are not worth mentioning
His beast moves and crying sequences were impressive to say the least. One-dimensional. To sum up, Kraven the Hunter doesn’t bring anything new or inventive to the superhero genre. The clunky storyline and basic villains drown out Kraven’s best moments as a character.
