Story
The story of how a young Donald Trump started his real estate business in New York in the 1970s and 1980s with the help of the infamous lawyer Roy M. Cohn. Roger Stone, a longtime associate of Donald Trump and Roy M. Cohn, acknowledged that Jeremy Strong’s portrayal of Cohn is “unrivaled in its accuracy.” [From Announcement] Roy Cohn: Rule Three: No matter what happens, you claim victory and never admit defeat.

I went into this movie not knowing much, it just popped up on my radar, so for me it had to be checked. I expected tension in the theater, but there was none, which was a relief. Overall, I didn’t get any political vibes from the movie.
The acting was phenomenal
As for accuracy, I can’t say for sure, but in the current climate in America, what is truly accurate anymore? Some actors and members of the production team will probably win awards, if not the film itself. The story was decent, not very exciting but interesting because the main character was once a president and everyone has their own opinion about him. It was fascinating to look into his life.
In fact, that’s one of his mantras for the film
Much of it seemed based in reality, though who really knows. It didn’t feel far, but there were definitely some cool, crazy moments. It’s basically about how Trump became Trump, which isn’t inherently interesting, but the draw is a revealing look at such a private person. Private in the sense that we never really know if what he says is true.

The movie didn’t affect my political views, but I recommend watching it to at least support the team that took a risk with a movie that was bound to cause a backlash.
