It’s a smart, rough, sharp and fun watch
Let me start by saying: I love body horror, and if you don’t or are a picky eater, you might want to pass on this movie. However, I thought the balance between disturbing, impressive, fascinating and obnoxious was just right on the money, in a world full of fillers, botox, facelifts and implants, skin care routines and an obsession with youth. media, THE SUBSTANCE questions whether the "new, better ‘you'" are you really 'you' – you are one, but maybe not the same.
Moore and Qualley were an excellent duo, and Quaid played Hollywood sleezeball as believably as possible
