When Ben is reading old newspapers on microfilm in the library the headline is “DUI’s Local Couple”
Story
An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot to find inspiration for his next book, only to discover that the townspeople are being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire. Writer Gary Dauberman told Den of Geek in June 2019 that his goal with the new version of Salem’s Lot is to make vampires scary again. He wants to get rid of the sexier, more romantic undead that have infected pop culture for the better part of the last quarter century, thanks to everything from Interview with the Vampire to Twilight to The Vampire Diaries.

The sheet was allegedly printed in 1956, at a time when the term “DUI” was not in use.. Sundown Written and Performed by Gordon Lightfoot Courtesy of Warner Records Warner Music Group Film & TV licensing. I loved the book when I read it in the ’80s and was looking forward to this movie, but I was disappointed.
There was no character development whatsoever, the acting was mediocre, although Alfre Woodard was a standout and I wish they showed him more
I’m not a purist and usually don’t mind different interpretations of a fictional story, but the changes weren’t really the worst part, that would be the bland storytelling and the movie just felt rushed. because he was the best part of the movie for me, even though he was barely in it, and I can’t say it enough, nothing happened with the story to make me care. it was nice, a real view of the budding romance going on, to really feel the grief of the main characters, anything other than the bland scenes we got.
Sadly, a completely forgettable movie
