A prolific expert in the occult and whiskey, Reverend Conte follows a ragtag group of military deserters to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of Marine units stationed there in 1944, said to be in the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. Talking to the islanders, they soon discover that the Marines were actually murdered by a group of lycanthropes, most known as werewolves.
